EXPLORE WITH US

To the seekers, investors, explorers, adventurers, and difference-makers – we believe life doesn’t stop unfolding just because we have a disability.

We believe that We Adapt. We Include. We Empower.

We are seeking a $15 million philanthropic and social impact investment to:

PHASE 1: 70% raised to date. Exciting news coming soon!

Build a one-of-a-kind Adventure and Wellness Lodge to foster social connection and innovative programming to improve mental and physical health. A gathering place along the continuum of care. An answer to the Surgeon General’s call for connection.

PHASE 2

Establish the region’s first Adaptive Sports Complex to serve people of all abilities, in partnership with Miracle League New Albany.

Expand programming and educational outreach to engage more adaptive athletes facing a variety of disabilities, including autism, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and other mobility challenges. Provide underserved, adaptive populations with health and wellness opportunities.

Support ASC’s social enterprise, Get Out Adventures. GOA delivers exceptional outdoor recreational experiences to people of all abilities so they can enjoy the health benefits of being outdoors. 100% of GOA net revenues fund ASC programs.

One in four adults and one in 20 children in Ohio have a disability from an injury, a disease, or a congenital defect. We are breaking down barriers and shedding limitations.

For nearly 30 years, we have been using the power of sports to push what’s possible for veterans, children, and adults with disabilities: confronting ignorance, fueling conversation, and inciting action that leads us to a world where everyone’s included. We snow ski, water ski, kayak, cycle, sail and mountain bike with adaptive equipment designed to match a person’s ABILITY – building skills, self-esteem, and independence.

We operate out of our Adventure Center located along the Scioto River in Powell, Ohio, Mad River Mountain Ski Resort, Snow Trails Ski Resort, Glacier Ridge Metro Park, and Alum Creek. We also have ready to go trailers to take our adaptive cycles and kayaks on the road to reach people where they live, work, and play.
